SPECIAL OFFERINGS

Mbongi (Healing Circle) - One of the most ancient Bantu traditions is a community gathering that features drumming, singing, dancing, healing, storytelling and teaching. Mbongi will take place on several evenings around the community fire (provided the fire danger is low) and will give us an opportunity to share our music and dance outside the classroom environment.

Bantu Show - On Sunday night of the camp, Bantu invites the greater community to join us in a show put on by the teachers and camp participants. Several local and visiting groups perform, in addition to the Bantu teachers and students presenting their choreographed dance and drum performances.  Admission is $10 for non-participants including family and friends; seating is limited!!

The Marketplace - will be open daily for buying, selling and trading. Vendors share 15% of their earnings with the camp and provide their own display tables.

Extra Stuff - Along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway, Synergia is located just 15-20 minutes from the historic towns of Cerrillos, Madrid and the cultural mecca of Santa Fe.  Synergia is surrounded by miles of hiking territory through beautiful high desert mountainous terrain.

CHECK IN

Check-In will occur between 12noon and 4pm on the first day of camp (bring snacks), with drum/dance classes in the afternoon and orientation that evening. Camp ends at approximately 1pm on the last day.

We look forward to having you!
